INTRODUCTION

The Wells County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) brings together a broad range of public, private and public/private groups that are committed to making Wells County the preeminent location for private sector investment and economic growth. The success of this collaborative effort requires that the highest standards of conduct be adhered to. This Code of Ethics represents the standards of the Wells County EDC and its unwavering promise to those it serves.

  • The Wells County EDC is committed to providing unbiased, integrity-based, world-class economic development services to existing and prospective Wells County base employers.
  • The Wells County EDC is committed to marketing and/or submitting every available site/building in Wells County equally and in accordance with the parameters of each respective inquiry.
  • The Wells County EDC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of projects for as long as the prospective employer desires, with the exception of information required for public incentives.
  • The employees of the Wells County EDC are prohibited from personally investing in or otherwise personally benefiting from any project.
